Wood chips are one of the cheapest types of fuel.
Heating with wood chips is many times more cost-effective than other fuels.
That is why FACI FSS wood chip boilers are actively used to heat production and office premises, and they are also installed by many heat and power companies to heat municipal and residential buildings.
Thanks to the innovative developments of the FACI engineering team, the FACI FSS wood chip boiler is rightly considered a boiler of the very latest generation.
As part of the modernisation, the boiler base and burner were completely redesigned. The new developments provide greater control over flame intensity and more flexible temperature control. As a result, we have achieved maximum boiler efficiency with minimum fuel consumption.
The boiler's twin-auger fuel feed is now equipped with two independently controlled gearboxes. This makes it possible to control each auger separately and achieve maximum protection against fuel ignition in the hopper.
The hopper agitator has also been upgraded, which eliminates any blockages and ensures an even fuel supply.
Extensive work was done to improve the control panel and the controller. Technical specialists will certainly appreciate this when starting up and adjusting the boiler.
We remind you that FACI FSS boilers are available in an output range from 115 to 1000 kW.
The main fuel is wood chips to GOST 15815-83 Ts-2; Ts-3; GP-1; GP-2; GP-3; PV, and pellets. Wood chips with other characteristics or any other fractional biofuel may be used after trial.
Sawdust in a volume of no more than 30% of the main fuel can be used as an additional fuel for wood chip boilers. A manual "firewood" mode is also provided. At the customer's request, the boiler can be fitted with an additional 8.5 m³ vibrating hopper, which provides automatic fuel feed on a signal from the fuel level sensors installed in the main service hopper.
For reference: we use a FACI FSS 215 to heat our own plant. Over a season our boiler consumes 500 m³ of wood chips - that is RUB 368,500 including delivery (11 trucks of 45 m³, 80 km).
A 200 kW gas holder would require 54,000 litres per year at RUB 15 per litre, excluding delivery. The cost would be RUB 810,000. That means savings of 810 000 - 368 500 - RUB 441,500. In other words, this boiler pays for itself in 1.5-2 seasons.
That is exactly how much we save every year, and exactly how much you can save.
