A reliable boiler house installed for a children's health camp in Anapa

22.08.2025

To provide stable heating and uninterrupted hot water for a children's health camp in Anapa, we commissioned a modern block-modular boiler house with an output of 6 MW. The technical solutions used guarantee maximum reliability for this socially important facility, ensuring comfortable conditions for children around the clock and in any weather.

Children's institutions place the highest demands on the reliability of engineering systems. A boiler house shutdown in winter is unacceptable. That is why the solution in Anapa focused on multiple redundancy and the ability to operate in any emergency.

Output and equipment

The heat unit is based on five high-efficiency hot water boilers FACI GAS 1200. To improve fault tolerance, a hybrid configuration was used:

  • Three boilers run on modern ECOSTAR ECO50GC2 gas burners.
  • Two boilers are equipped with ECO50KLC2 dual-fuel burners, allowing diesel fuel to be used as a backup if necessary.

The boiler house is built on a four-circuit heat scheme, which provides flexible load distribution between the heating and hot water circuits, significantly improving energy efficiency and ease of control.

Key advantages and safety systems implemented

  1. Dual fuel redundancy. If the gas supply is cut off in an emergency, the dual-fuel burners automatically switch to diesel fuel, keeping the heat on without the slightest interruption.
  2. Output redundancy. The scheme automatically brings a backup boiler into operation if any of the running boilers stops, maintaining the system's rated output.
  3. Reliable power supply. The boiler house is powered from two independent sources. An automatic transfer switch (ATS) instantly switches to the backup input if the main input loses power, ensuring continuous operation of all equipment.
  4. Flexible control. Automatic, semi-automatic and manual operating modes are provided. This allows a quick response to any emergency and continued operation even during temporary system failures.
  5. Full redundancy of key units:
    - Backup heat exchangers for the heating and hot water circuits;
    - Backup pump groups in each category;
    - Buffer tanks to top up the systems in case the supply stops or the source water pressure drops.

Thanks to a comprehensive approach and advanced solutions, the children's health camp in Anapa now has a modern, energy-efficient and, most importantly, reliable source of heat and hot water.
