Now the heating company spends five times less on fuel.

Three FACI pellet boilers with a total output of 3000 kW have been heating several apartment buildings, shops, educational and cultural institutions and a medical facility in the village of Yb for more than four years (since 2019). As a result, the local heating company spends five times less on fuel than before the boiler house was modernised.

Konstantin Dolinger, Technical Director of the heating company JSC KTK:
- On fuel oil we spent almost up to 200 thousand a day; now the maximum, in the coldest weather, is 40 thousand.

Until 2019, the boiler house in the village of Yb (Komi Republic) ran on fuel oil. This was very expensive, as the local heating organisation had to pay RUB 28 thousand per tonne of fuel oil. In addition, three people (two operators and a fitter) worked in the boiler house every day to keep it running around the clock.

Now there is only one employee in the local boiler house who controls all processes. In addition, FACI pellet boilers can operate automatically, adjusting the fuel supply according to the outdoor temperature.
