Experience of using the FACI 258 pellet boiler

A FACI industrial hot water boiler is used for producing canned fish.

Our customer is a fish processing plant in Murmansk that has been producing canned fish for many years.

Their production requires a large amount of hot water. For this purpose, the company previously used two diesel boilers (main and backup) of 200 kW each. This method of heating led to significant costs. So the customer looked for more affordable yet efficient ways of heating water and settled on pellet heating.

FACI 258 pellet boiler

The pellet boiler FACI 258 became an excellent alternative to diesel. It has a high output, 93% efficiency, low ash content and the ability to operate autonomously for a long time.

The standard hopper FACI 258 in all configurations holds 500 litres of fuel. However, if necessary, this volume can be increased many times over by using enlarged hoppers.

To optimise space and make fuel loading convenient, the customer decided to place the upper part of the hopper store on the roof of the building.

As a result, FACI 258 has been running stably and well since July 2023 and has significantly reduced the costs of heating water for production needs. The customer is fully satisfied with the FACI pellet boiler and the service of the official dealer MurmanTeploMontazh.
