HEATING: Electricity vs. pellets.

The real story of a company that solved its heating problem thanks to a sound economic calculation.

A grocery store, its warehouse and office were heated with electricity. The store owner received huge electricity bills during the heating season, so he set himself the task of radically changing the picture and reducing heating costs many times over.

After carefully studying the heating equipment market, the owner chose a FACI 105 kW pellet boiler.
To purchase and install the FACI equipment, he turned to the official dealer for Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, Innovatsiya LLC, which has many years of experience with this equipment. Pellet consumption per season (actual): 49 tonnes
Pellet price in 2022 in the Leningrad Region: RUB 9,000 per tonne, big bag
Maximum consumption in the coldest month: 11 tonnes.
Total: annual heating costs amounted to RUB 441,000.

SO, LET'S CALCULATE:

This is 2.5 times less than electric heating (RUB 4.7 per 1 kWh).
Before that, electric heating cost about RUB 1,100,000 a year!
It is easy to calculate that the owner saved RUB 659,000 in a year, and the boiler paid for itself in just one heating season.
