The Tsipina Gora ski complex in the Vologda Region is a popular resort visited every year by thousands of tourists from all over the country. Its buildings are located far from gas supply - deep in the forest. For this reason, heating required a sound approach from both a financial and an environmental point of view.

It was decided to heat more than 940 square metres with two FACI 105 pellet boilers. To extend the autonomous operating time, these boilers were fitted with enlarged 1000 l hoppers instead of the standard 500 l ones.
Let's calculate the heating cost for this complex:
The pellets were bought in advance, out of season, so they were cheaper. The price per tonne was RUB 7,000. The average fuel consumption during the heating season was 9.3 tonnes per month. In the coldest month it was 23 tonnes.
In total, over the 7 months of the heating season, 65 tonnes of pellets were used, costing RUB 455,000, or RUB 65,000 per month. We remind you that this is the heating of a complex of premises with a total area of almost 1000 m².
Thus, the average cost of heat energy was RUB 1.55 per kWh, which is much cheaper than electric heating.
Having seen real savings over three years, and with plans to modernise and expand the ski complex, in 2021 the customer decided to buy another 78 kW FACI boiler.
Delivery and commissioning were carried out by our official dealers in Vologda, Tekhnologii Komforta. These are exactly the partners we can fully rely on.
