FACI pellet boilers —
renewed heating traditions from Italy

A pellet boiler is a heating boiler fired with wood fuel pellets (granules) compressed in a special press (pelletiser) from wood shavings, sawdust and other woodworking residues.

The combustion chamber of these boilers is relatively small, since most of the heat (up to 70%) is transferred in the well-developed multi-pass convection section of the boiler. As a result, the flue gas temperature is only 100-200 °C. The boiler is equipped with a special volumetric pellet burner that gives higher efficiency when burning pellets than other categories of solid fuel boilers and is comparable in efficiency to natural gas boilers.

Twin-auger, twin-gearbox fuel feed — the safest, time-tested option that, unlike other fuel feeds, complies with European fire safety standards for private housing.

FACI's unique twin-auger, twin-gearbox fuel feed algorithm reliably prevents hopper fires.

Cast iron pixel retort burner

The pixel retort burner is the only burner in the world whose pixels can be partially replaced when the burner burns out. This significantly reduces the customer's boiler repair costs.

Cylindrical heat exchanger

Italian heating engineers have developed the ideal heat exchanger shape, which ensures the highest possible heat transfer to the heat carrier because the flame envelops (flows around) the cylindrical heat exchanger. This gives the highest possible efficiency of 93% and saves the customer's fuel. Our heat exchanger design is unique and has no corners — and corners are what burn out first and shorten the boiler's life.

FACI was established to manufacture biofuel boilers in 1961 in Italy,
in Spoltore. Its founder Rocco Matricciani designed these boilers and received a "Patent for Industrial Invention" from the Italian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Over more than half a century the company has refined the design of its products, improving their efficiency, quality and durability.

For three generations we have been producing reliable, technologically advanced solid fuel boilers. We have always paid special attention to sustainable energy development, which led us to invest
in new forms of energy production, all from renewable sources, both for households and industry. Achieving this goal requires constant research and experimentation, especially in biomass combustion. This has allowed us to create highly functional, simple and efficient products.

FACI boilers use environmentally friendly fuel

Our solid fuel boilers are designed for any fuel — pellets, coal, wood chips
and biomass (wood, husks, corn and much more). The carbon dioxide produced by combustion is equivalent to that absorbed from the atmosphere while the plants grew and is now returned
to the environment, so the final emissions balance is zero. A biomass plant significantly reduces emissions of carbon dioxide and fine dust and makes you independent
of fossil fuels.
