Boiler description:

FACI GAS are high-efficiency hot water boilers with outputs from 100 to 3500 kW, designed to supply heat to any facility you have.

FACI GAS boilers can be stacked on top of each other, freeing up additional floor space.

The FACI GAS furnace has an inverted cylindrical shape with radially arranged fire tubes. Special hot-gas swirlers (turbulators) are installed in the tubes.

All these features maximise heat transfer from the hot gases to the heat carrier, provide efficiency of up to 95% and save fuel.
The flow and return connections, as well as the connections for instrumentation and safety valves, are positioned for easy and quick connection to the system.


The FACI GAS boiler body has a special design that distributes the heat carrier evenly throughout the water jacket, preventing dangerous temperature differences inside the boiler.

The bottom of the FACI GAS furnace is connected by a water-cooled pipe that stiffens the structure without obstructing the flow of heat carrier through the water jacket.
The hinged reversible doors of the FACI GAS boiler can open to the left or right for added convenience.
The doors are lined with a special heat-resistant compound and the boiler casing is fully covered with high-density insulation. As a result, heat loss tends to zero and the casing stays cold and safe.

Opening the doors gives full access to the furnace and fire tubes. A blow-down and drain connection is provided at the bottom of the boiler. These features make FACI GAS servicing quick and easy.

FACI GAS industrial gas-fired hot water boilers are designed primarily for industrial facilities. They have a high output of 100-3500 kW — quite enough to heat large workshops and entire industrial buildings. For domestic hot water, a calorifier heated by the flue gases is connected to the boiler.

Features of FACI GAS gas boilers

FACI GAS has achieved the maximum possible efficiency of up to 95% and significant fuel savings. The flow and return connections, as well as the connections for instrumentation and safety valves, are positioned so that connecting the boiler to the system is quick and simple. There are other distinctive features.
  1. The furnace has an inverted cylindrical shape.
  2. The fire tubes are arranged radially.
  3. Special hot-gas turbulators are installed inside the tubes.
The gas heating boiler has a special configuration to distribute the heat carrier evenly throughout the water jacket. This prevents large temperature differences in the heat carrier circulating through the boiler. Note the following features.
  1. The bottom of the furnace is connected by a water-cooled pipe that increases rigidity. This part does not obstruct the flow of the heat carrier through the water jacket.
  2. The hinged reversible boiler door opens to the left or to the right, which makes operation easier.
  3. The doors are lined with a special heat-resistant compound. The casing has high-density thermal insulation, which reduces heat loss of the industrial gas hot water boiler to virtually zero.
  4. The units are designed to be as safe as possible, since their surface stays cold.
  5. Opening the door gives access to the furnace and fire tubes.
  6. A blow-down and drain connection is located in the lower part of the unit.

How an industrial boiler works

Industrial gas-fired hot water boilers work as follows.
  1. The heat carrier passes through the heat exchanger.
  2. It is heated and then circulates through the heating circuit.
  3. The heat is released into the room through radiators.
  4. Underfloor heating and towel rails heat water in indirect-fired calorifiers.
A heat exchanger is a metal vessel in which the heat carrier — water or antifreeze — is heated. It is made of:
  • steel;
  • cast iron;
  • copper.
How reliable and durable an imported gas boiler is depends on the quality of its heat exchanger, which in turn depends on the material listed above. Each option has its own technical characteristics and performance properties. Cast iron. Such a heat exchanger is resistant to corrosion and has a long service life. Drawbacks: high sensitivity to sudden and frequent temperature changes, heavy weight. Steel. Such a vessel rusts over time, so the inner surface is given an anti-corrosion coating to prevent this and extend its service life. This is the most common option. Copper. Such heat exchangers do not corrode, and thanks to excellent heat transfer, low weight and compact size they are used in wall-mounted boilers. The one drawback is the high price. The burner type also matters for industrial gas hot water boilers. Burners can be:
  • forced-draught;
  • single-stage;
  • two-stage;
  • with smooth modulation;
  • dual.
The units are controlled by automation that can be configured to your preferences. You can use:
  • a weather-compensated control system;
  • programmable operation devices;
  • a remote access system.
Industrial gas water heaters are classified as:
  • floor-standing;
  • wall-mounted.
The latter have low output and compact dimensions. Industrial units, accordingly, are the most powerful and larger, and can heat a large area.
