Boiler on wood chips FACI FSS with a unique three-cylinder high-efficiency heat exchanger is designed for heating infrastructure facilities using wood chips with natural humidity as fuel.

Realizing the importance of uninterrupted operation in all situations, Italian engineers have developed an algorithm of the boiler on standby fuel - already in the basic boiler package works on pellets in automatic mode, and on coal, wood and briquettes in manual mode. Optionally, the boiler can be equipped with additional equipment for operation on coal in automatic mode.

The Italian group of FACI engineers has developed a unique burner for wood chips boilers that has two burning zones (the main zone and the afterburning zone).

Horizontal heat exchangers - the hallmark of FACI boilers. Boilers are designed so that the exhaust gases from the burned fuel pass many times around the cylindrical heat exchangers.

This allows the maximum heat removal from the flue gases and achieve an efficiency of more than 90%.

The FACI FSS fuel feeder is one of the safest in the world. Safety is achieved by the installation of 2 reinforced augers with independent motor reducers of increased power, which allowed to separate the fuel feeding zone into the burner and the operational boiler hopper.

The anti-smoke allows air to be additionally routed into the combustion zone through the lower screw of the boiler, which prevents smoke in the boiler room through the operational hopper.

The implementation of these solutions allowed to achieve maximum safety in the operation of equipment, which is especially important at sites with full automation and without the constant presence of staff.
